As a mom of 4 who lives in chronic pain and fatigue, cleaning the house is the last thing on my priorities. I’ve always been hesitant to ask for help. Recently I had surgery in hopes to alleviate some of that pain and BHP came in to clean my bathrooms and kitchen while I sat on the couch in recovery mode. The rooms I desperately needed help with. They did a fantastic job and I enjoyed the conversation and prayer with them. This is such a great ministry and these ladies love what they do. God bless you all.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Brenda and Ian from Blessed Home Project and the great job they did cleaning our home last week . They were organized, efficient, thorough, respectful , compassionate and supportive. When they were finished cleaning , my sister told them our bathtub hadn’t been that clean and shiny in decades! 

I am undergoing chemotherapy and learned about this free service from a pamphlet I saw at Hillman Cancer Center. 

Booking the cleaning was very easy and they were very helpful working with us for a date that would work best . The cleaners bring their own supplies.

Brenda and Ian do a great service helping in the community as they are both very caring individuals.

I want to say how much of a blessing Blessed Home Projects visit is for me. Kelly and Brenda came to my home the day before Thanksgiving. I have a congenital heart condition, Long Covid, and severe A. D. D. My muscles are weak, and I am disabled. 

It is very challenging for me to get my housework done. Some days I can’t even stand up, so I go from the bed at night to my couch during the day. 

Brenda and Kelly helped me to get my kitchen cleared up, they swept and mopped the floor, and put the groceries away in the cupboard. They vacuumed in the living room and the bedroom, and swiffered the ceiling light fixtures. They helped me to hang up my clean clothes which were all in a big pile on the bedroom floor.

I had wonderful fellowship with these marvelous women. Because I live alone, they were very good company. God bless them and your organization. And thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I am truly amazed and humbled by the loving service from this amazing ministry. My house is sparkling clean. This was so emotionally uplifting after three hospital trips in the last 2.5 weeks. The compassion of the two amazing people who came was wonderful. While they were there I got a call that one of my son in laws was in the ER. They even called me later that evening to check in on him.

Kelly and Brenda were super friendly. They left my home sparkling clean and smelling refreshed! It's a huge Blessing after being in the hospital; to know the house is clean and I can relax and focus on Rest and Recovery. Thank You SO MUCH for your services. I had a wonderful visit from the Blessed Home Project. I really needed help and they came and helped me so much!! Things were getting away from me due to my health issues and I was at my wit's end. Thank the Lord my apartment is fresh and clean and so is my mind and heart. Thank you so much to the Blessed Home Project. I hope to give back one day as soon as I feel better!

Brenda and Ian were nothing short of amazing. From their cleaning skills to their friendly personalities. They did an excellent job on our home. I got the impression that they genuinely care about my son’s cancer diagnosis, especially since they said a prayer with us & asked to be updated as our journey continues. This is truly an awesome organization and very helpful to say the least.

I contacted the Blessed Home Project to help my dad, who is a 92 year old Korean War army veteran, as he is unable to clean his house on his own now. 

Brenda and Ian were the two volunteers who came to clean my dad’s house, and they were the kindest, most respectful people! They chatted with my dad and myself as they worked, sharing stories with him, and making him feel at ease. They treated him with respect and kindness, and I know it made him happy to see his home looking sparkling clean. They also shared a prayer with him before they left, which meant the world to him! 

I couldn’t have been happier that I’d chosen to reach out to this wonderful organization. They are truly selfless, kind, and caring people, who do this purely voluntarily. They are a worthy organization, that deserves recognition for what they do for those unable to do for themselves! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my dad feel cared for and appreciated. I will recommend you to everybody I know!

I cannot say enough good things about these sweet people and this business. My husband and I have been though a really tough last year or so. We had a stillborn beautiful little boy, and that broke us. Then, received a huge blessing that we were expecting again, but at our anatomy scan found out our son had a severe congenital heart defect. He has been in the hospital the last almost 4 months. Juggling hospital trips, surgeries, and life along with our other 2 kids, we were drowning.

Blessed Home Project came and helped us when we needed it the most and did so much more than just a wonderful cleaning job. They talked with me, listened, and prayed for us and for our whole family. You could tell they truly cared and it was just all around such a great experience. Thank you so much!

My sweet friend Melissa has a mission to bring hope through free house cleaning services for those going through a difficult time in their life.

Little did I know that I would be on the receiving end of this one day and let me tell you, it was SUCH A BLESSING.

After seeing my post back in September Melissa reached out to see if she could bless me with a free house cleaning. Going through my treatments left me so exhausted and even a couple weeks out from completing them I’m still recovering. Yesterday two of the kindest and sweetest people came over and spent a couple hours in our home while the kids and I enjoyed the sunshine outside. When I stepped back inside I was SHOCKED. To be honest I’m not sure I’ve ever been able to clean my house as well as they did!

This generous act left my heart full, my mind a little more clearer (because we all know how lovely a clean home is!) and now I want to tell everyone about them!

Sometimes it’s the most practical things we can do for people that can make the biggest difference. Thank you to everyone at the Blessed Home Project. I am so grateful for your care and hospitality!

Blessed Home Project was such a gift to our family and Pittsburgh is so very lucky to have this organization in our city. Kelly reached out to me while I was with our preemie in the NICU. At the time, I had already been hospitalized for several weeks and with little ones at home, I didn't know how I'd get everything in order once I was home. Just knowing that help with cleaning my home was on the way was such a stress reliever during that time. Melissa, Gia, and Brenda cleaned my home top to bottom and they did a fantastic job. We were truly blessed and blown away that such a caring organization exists and brings so much light and comfort to people in our city who are going through a challenging or difficult time.

Due to unforeseen circumstances that occurred, cleaning my home the way it needed to be done was the last thing on my priority list, not to mention I had no time and was too tired when I had a moment to spare.  Keeping up with everything by myself was a lot and very stressful while we dealt with my husband recovering and a death in the family.

They were able to come when I needed this the most.  They loved on me, prayed for not just me but my home/household.  It felt so nice to come out of my office to a fully cleaned home!  It smelled wonderful and was such a weight off my shoulders to know it was done and done well!!!  

I wish I had taken pictures of everything to show!  But let me just say that they were able to get clean things that I could not get clean!  I not only recommend them for anyone who needs a blessing but I want them to come back!!

When facing difficult circumstances, the last thing one often can do is to clean their home.  Your team does it with a smile on their faces and that is truly helpful.

We are so appreciative of our Christian sisters who helped us in our time of need. Coming home to a clean house feels amazing. We can’t wait to sow into their ministry someday when we are able.

As I’m not able to clean properly due to chronic illnesses, this was a true blessing. For me, a clean home brings peace, comfort and contentment. When you’re constantly focused on your health, a lot of things get moved to the back burner. Eventually these things start to pile up and it can become overwhelming. The Blessed Home Project took some of that burden away from me. The ladies were awesome: no judgement, just kindness. I’m so glad that I filled out an application!

Blessed Home Project relieved a huge burden for us during our time of need. Our son was born with a congenital heart defect and we’ve been spending each day at the hospital with him since he was born in October. We quickly realized that after long days at the hospital, cleaning was the last thing on our mind!

Blessed Home took the burden of cleaning my house away from my already stressed mind. I was physically unable to clean and scrub, making me feel anxiety about my home. I thank them for taking the time out of their personal lives to help someone in need.

Blessed Home cleaning was such a tremendous blessing to our family! My husband broke his ankle in six places last Thanksgiving, leaving us overwhelmed with the burdens of everyday life, a serious surgery, and a long recovery process. Melissa and her team came in and offered us a cleaning service and it impacted us so deeply! It made me feel like I could relax and breathe during a very difficult time! I came home and cried because I was so overwhelmed with thankfulness! This year our family was rocked with both a death and a cancer diagnosis. Knowing we would not be able to handle housework on top of everything else, Melissa stepped in and took a tremendous load off of our shoulders. Our home was clean (even in places that I NEVER would have thought of!) and she was incredibly respectful of our home and our personal space. I’m so thankful for the Blessed Home Project and the work they do!

What a wonderful experience I had with the Blessed Home Project. After my mom passed away unexpectedly I was just feeling very overwhelmed, and unfortunately keeping my house clean was at the bottom of my list! With 3 kids and a husband I just didn’t have the time. My super sweet neighbor Kelly, the project coordinator for Blessed Home, messaged me one day not long after my mom passed and said she wanted to nominate me for a free house cleaning. I gladly took her up on that and I’m so happy I did!! She showed up with Lisa and Pat who were so very kind and compassionate and just did an absolutely amazing job cleaning my house! It was such a great feeling to walk in and know that I literally didn’t have to do a thing, it was all taken care of. Blessed Home Project was a true blessing to me at a time in my life when I was really struggling. I appreciate them more than they will ever know!! Thank you!!!

I would give a 10000/5 stars if I could. Everyone who came was so kind and helpful. They made me feel so loved and understood. My husband and I lost our infant daughter in December and since then I found out that I’m pregnant. I’ve been in a lot of physical pain, so I’ve been unable to keep up with all the stuff around the house, along with grieving and learning our new normal. BHP has been so helpful with everything that needed deep cleaned and organized. I would absolutely recommend letting them help if you need it. Since they’ve been here a couple days ago, I have felt so much peace because my dirty cluttered home that was hard for me to be at, is now a safe space for me because everything has a place and I don’t feel so overwhelmed!

Brenda and Ian were the two amazing people that came to my home to give it the proper cleaning it needed! They were very kind, courteous, professional, and super friendly. When sent the form to notate the areas that needed addressed, within their scope of services, they completed the task, very cleanly and efficiently. Being I just had surgery, to have them come in and give our home the deep cleaning it needed, was such a blessing to me and my family! Their kindness and genuineness is unmatched, and I will definitely utilize their services again!

We were nominated for the Blessed Home Project after the tragic passing of my husband and father to my girls. Instantly becoming a single mom of two very active and involved preteen/teen made keeping a clean house difficult. Brenda, Laura & Nanci came in and took some pressure and stress off of me. They did a wonderful job our house was sparkling clean when they left! I am beyond thankful for their help during this time. 

Brenda and Ian were amazing. Talk about Amazing Grace! They were kind, compassionate, and easy to talk with. They asked about my family, and I shared some ongoing health issues. Brenda took the time to write down some people and organizations that might be able to help. Then she prayed with us. It was a wonderful experience. And my place has never been cleaner. :-)

Blessed Home Project was a blessing as they helped me perform cleaning that I was unable to handle due to severe physical injury.  After several months of healing that was slow to progress I needed help and could not afford to pay very much.  The cleaning they performed made my home look absolutely sparkling and they were a true pleasure. All workers were extremely professional, kind, courteous and pleasant! I enjoyed having them in my home and was so happy with the sparkling clean outcome, something I was unable to perform myself for the past year!

They came into our home with love in their hearts. They were sweet and personable and listened to our needs. They created a clean environment removing dirt and germs and dust and provided a space we can relax in. I am temporarily living with my parents, who are a little bit older, and I am recovering from a broken left leg and injury to my right ankle and wheelchair bound. This was definitely a blessing for all of us. It was wonderful to get to know each of the ladies working today. Melissa, Brenda, and Barb. Thank you so very much!

The two lovely ladies who showed up at my house were so kind and supportive. I am going through a very hard time and they heard some of my story and prayed over me, which was so meaningful. I’m so thankful for the cleaning they did they both worked so hard and made my house look so nice and just being surrounded by them that day the positive vibe they let off and how open I felt with them. Thank you so very much for everything! Brenda even sent my daughter a gift for her bed, and I am so appreciative. Thank you very much for everything!

Due to my age and ailments, I am unable to clean like I used to, therefore having Blessed Home to take care of my cleaning needs is truly a blessing.
