How to Become a Volunteer

Getting started is simple and pressure-free:

    A staff member will reach out to confirm any required clearances are up to date and answer any questions you may have.

  3. Get access to our volunteer app.
    Once approved, you’ll be added to the app we use to coordinate volunteers.

  4. Choose when and how you serve.
    View upcoming serve opportunities on the calendar and sign up for the ones that fit your schedule.

Be the heart and voice of The Blessed Home Project.

Hope Ambassadors help extend our mission beyond the cleaning. This role focuses on relationship-building, prayer, encouragement, and connecting families to support. Hope Ambassadors often greet families, check in during cleans or events, and help ensure every person feels seen, heard, and loved.

Encouraging others, praying with people, building relationships, and representing the heart of the ministry.

🧼 Cleaning Team Volunteer

Serve through practical care.

Cleaning Team Volunteers provide hands-on help by cleaning homes for individuals and families experiencing hardship. This role brings dignity, relief, and peace into homes through simple but powerful acts of service.

No professional experience required—just a willing heart and a commitment to excellence, teamwork, and compassion.

🎉 Events Volunteer

Help create welcoming, joy-filled spaces.

Events Volunteers assist with setup, hospitality, registration, serving food, activity stations, and cleanup at BHP events such as Breakthrough Nights, Back to School Bash, Clothing Swaps, and other community outreach events. This role helps ensure events run smoothly and that every guest feels welcomed, valued, and cared for.
